Shanxi Ruiyang Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd. of Dakote Energy Holdings Officially Established

  On March 22, 2011, the unveiling ceremony for Shanxi Ruiyang Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd. was held in Xiyang County. Concurrently, groundbreaking ceremonies were held for the Ruiyang 50,000-ton oxygen-enriched coalbed methane liquefaction project and the Yangmei Group’s Sijiiazhuang 30,000-cubic-meter coalbed methane storage facility. Attending the ceremony were Guo Liangxiao, Executive Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Liu Runmin, Secretary of the Provincial Communist Youth League Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Jinzhong Municipal Party Committee, and Secretary of the Xiyang County Party Committee; Cui Lianhui, Deputy Director of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; Zhao Shiping, General Manager of the Yangmei Group; Zhang Qingheng, Chief Engineer of the Yangmei Group; Zhang Fuxi, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Yangmei Group; Zhao Yanfeng, General Manager of Jindong Company; Zhang Xuelin, Chairman of Guorui Investment Company; Guo Yuejin, General Manager of Guorui Investment Company; as well as Xin Laiyang, Ji Huaizhong, Fan Shixin, and Zhao Li, Deputy General Managers of Guorui Investment Company; Lan Zhihuai, Chairman of Sichuan Dacote Company; and Yu Lanjin, Chief Engineer of Sichuan Dacote Company, along with other relevant officials.

  The Shanxi Ruiyang 50,000-ton oxygen-enriched coalbed methane liquefaction project has a total investment of RMB 210 million, occupies approximately 60 mu of land, and features a total building area of about 100,000 square meters. The construction period is seven months, with Phase I having an annual production capacity of 3,500 cubic meters of CNG. Phase II will be implemented concurrently with the development of the Sijiazhuang Mine, ultimately achieving a design capacity of 50,000 tons of LNG per year (equivalent to 90 million cubic meters of CNG). The successful implementation of this project will contribute to greening, gasifying, purifying, and promoting public health in Shanxi Province, as well as to building a new Xiyang characterized by blue skies and clear waters. The project employs pressure swing adsorption technology to purify and liquefy coal mine gas, producing liquid methane with a purity exceeding 99%. Its completion sets a national—and indeed global—precedent for the development and utilization of low-concentration coal mine gas, serving as a highly exemplary model for the future direction of coalbed methane development and utilization in China.

  Shanxi Ruiyang Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd. was jointly established through investment by Sichuan Dacote Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a national leader in oxygen-enriched coalbed methane purification and liquefaction technology; Shanxi Guorui New Energy Co., Ltd., an enterprise directly under the Shanxi Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; and Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., one of the top ten coal enterprises in China. The company’s registered capital is RMB 50 million. Its corporate philosophy is to develop a circular economy, harness clean energy, achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, and build a low-carbon industry.

The group standard T/CIET 1003-2025 “Technical Specification for Methane Recovery and Utilization in Oil and Gas Fields”, in which Sichuan DKT Energy Technology Co., Ltd.( A subsidiary of Hydrexia (China)) served as the main drafting unit, has been successfully released.
