Recently, Dakote Energy’s independently developed “Standard and Specification Update Software” successfully passed the review by the National Copyright Administration and has officially been granted a Certificate of Copyright Registration for Computer Software.
The “Standard and Specification Update Software” is capable of automatically extracting standard codes from documents, querying online to obtain the latest standard numbers, matching these with the most closely related superseded and current standard numbers, and replacing the year associated with superseded standard numbers in the documents. In addition, the software can automatically retrieve and update the years of invalidated standards and specifications in the documents to the corresponding years of the latest versions. These multiple automated functions significantly enhance work efficiency and quality, substantially reduce omissions and errors, and provide robust technical support for Dakota Energy’s standardization management and compliance efforts.
