Dai Ying Dacote: Successfully Overcoming Technical Bottlenecks to Achieve Product Iteration and Upgrade

Sichuan DKT Energy Technology Co., Ltd.( A subsidiary of Hydrexia (China))

Recently, Daqote Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary, Daying Daqote Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., under the “Rapid Adsorption–Desorption Solution for Molecular Sieves Used in Pressure Swing Adsorption to Produce High-Purity Hydrogen,” has, thanks to the “Challenge-Based Recruitment” research incentive mechanism launched by the Suining Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, embarked on in-depth collaboration with Sichuan University. This partnership has successfully overcome key technological bottlenecks, enabled product optimization and iterative upgrades, and garnered coverage on the news channel of Suining City Television.

Over more than two years of in-depth collaborative research and exploration, Da Ying Dacote and the School of Chemical Engineering at Sichuan University have achieved remarkable results in areas such as the surface properties of hydrogen-production molecular sieves, their adsorption–desorption performance, and engineering applications. Throughout the R&D process, we maintained close collaboration with Sichuan University, conducting coordinated and intensive efforts on material analysis and formulation optimization, which led to significant technological breakthroughs. As a result, we successfully developed a new product—300C—which not only streamlines the three key processes of drying, calcination, and ion exchange, thereby enhancing the adsorption rate, but also delivers notable energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits.

“In terms of adsorption performance and adsorption kinetics for helium, methane, and carbon monoxide, this product delivers performance on par with comparable foreign products and ranks among the domestic leaders in the pressure swing adsorption hydrogen-production industry, successfully achieving import substitution.” With the nation’s sustained large-scale investment and development in the hydrogen-energy sector, the application scenarios for hydrogen production using this new product are expanding rapidly. To date, more than 540 metric tons of the 300C product have been sold externally and deployed in projects such as Shaanxi Runzhong, Shanxi Jinye, Shanxi Woneng, Henan Jiaomei Kaiyuan, Inner Mongolia Huineng, and Guizhou Meijin, generating tens of millions of yuan in revenue for the company.

The achievements of the Da Ying Dacote project not only underscore Dacote Energy’s robust capabilities in technological innovation but also fully demonstrate the immense potential of the industry–university–research collaboration model. Through close cooperation with government agencies and academic institutions, the company has not only optimized and upgraded its products but also significantly enhanced its R&D capacity and market competitiveness. This collaborative approach has accelerated the commercialization of scientific and technological advances while further fostering the steady development of the hydrogen energy industry.

Looking ahead, Dakote Energy will remain steadfast in its commitment to pioneering innovation, continuously exploring new technologies and approaches. At the same time, the company will actively respond to the national call, consistently empowering China’s energy and chemical industries and making unwavering contributions toward the realization of the nation’s “3060” goals.
