Good News┃Dakote Energy Wins Bid for 20,000-ton-per-year Flue Gas CO2 Capture Project

Sichuan DKT Energy Technology Co., Ltd.( A subsidiary of Hydrexia (China))

Recently, Dakot Energy won the bid for a 20,000-ton-per-year flue-gas CO₂ capture project. 2 Project.

This project employs carbon capture and utilization technologies—such as lime kiln gas, flue gas, and fermentation gas—as well as the CCS-EOR process, all developed in-house by Dakote Energy. 2 This facility employs separation and recycling technologies, integrated with digitalization, intelligent automation, and green practices, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide. It utilizes an innovative pressure swing adsorption process, using carbon dioxide from glass furnace flue gas as feedstock. After flue-gas treatment, carbon-dioxide capture, and compression, the product achieves a purity of 95%, meeting the quality specifications required for water-glass production.

The project’s official commissioning will help the owner establish a green industrial chain integrating water glass production with carbon capture, serve as a demonstration project for decarbonization and carbon sequestration in the water glass industry, and contribute to the nation’s efforts to achieve its carbon neutrality goal.

Dakote Energy will steadfastly uphold the principles of quality first, customer paramountcy, and reputation above all, ensuring that project construction is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Through concrete actions, we will strive to deliver high-quality projects, enhance the company’s positive image, and successfully complete all project objectives.

This project utilizes our company’s independently developed technology:
