Recently, the Chengdu Municipal Commission of New Economy selected and finalized the 2018 List of 100 Key Enterprises for Focused Cultivation in Chengdu’s New Economy. Chengdu High-tech Zone has become the preferred destination for new-economy enterprises. Approximately 70% of Chengdu’s 100 key nurtured new-economy companies were founded in the High-tech Zone, with the majority concentrated in Tianfu Software Park. According to reports, the Chengdu Municipal Commission for New Economy is currently establishing a database of new-economy enterprises to dynamically monitor their current development status and vigorously cultivate “leading enterprises” across industrial value chains. The commission has also compiled a list of more than 30 “potential unicorns,” primarily operating in such fields as big data, Internet-plus smart healthcare, Internet-plus smart logistics, intelligent hardware, artificial intelligence, cultural entertainment, and VR/AR. As the first city in China to establish a New Economy Commission, Chengdu’s commitment to developing the new economy is evident. The Chengdu New Economy Development Conference explicitly set the goal of, by 2022, essentially establishing a new-economy industrial system with global influence and regional driving force, and of building a new type of city that is optimally suited for the development and growth of the new economy.
Our company has been successfully selected as a key enterprise for the development of Chengdu’s new economy, which serves both as an incentive and a call to action.
