On December 27, 2018, the Office of the Chengdu Leading Group for New Economic Development issued the “Notice on Effectively Providing Services to Enterprises Included in the Chengdu New Economy Tiered Cultivation Database,” officially recognizing our company as a pre-unicorn enterprise under the 2018 Chengdu New Economy Tiered Cultivation Program and designating it as a key enterprise for focused cultivation in Chengdu’s new economy development.

The new economy is a crucial driver for steering the economy into the new normal and achieving high-quality development; it is a central focus of urban competition and a vital pillar for better meeting the people’s aspirations for a better life. As the first city in China to establish a New Economy Commission, Chengdu’s commitment to the development of the new economy is unmistakable.

The “Double Hundred Project” is an initiative launched by Chengdu to focus on the current state of new economic development, accelerate the cultivation and growth of a cohort of new economy enterprises, foster a dynamic environment in which enterprises compete and thrive, and thereby steer the city’s economy toward high-quality development characterized by high technological content, low resource consumption, minimal environmental impact, strong quality and efficiency, and sustainable growth—thus implementing the guiding principles of innovation and green development for the new era.

In 2018, Chengdu’s tiered cultivation program for new economy enterprises encompassed three tiers: seed-stage firms, pre-unicorn companies, and unicorns or industry leaders. This tiered approach reflects Chengdu’s targeted support, addressing the distinct growth challenges faced by new economy enterprises at different stages and prescribing tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.

From the launch meeting of the New Economy Enterprise Tiered Cultivation Program and the “Double Hundred” Initiative held on May 8, 2018—during which the 2018 list of 100 key new-economy enterprises in Chengdu and the corresponding application criteria were announced—to the public announcement of the approved roster, the event truly brought together a distinguished cohort of leading enterprises, fostering vigorous competition and innovation.

Dakote Company has consistently dedicated itself to the development and innovation of various gas separation and purification projects, successfully resolving numerous long-standing technical challenges in the industry. Building on the enhancement of conventional adsorbent-based systems, the company has developed more than ten proprietary technologies with independent intellectual property rights, including “high-purity ethylene recovery from catalytic dry gas in refineries for use as ethylene feedstock,” “one-step adsorption-based separation and recovery of methane and high-purity carbon dioxide from natural gas,” “deoxygenation, concentration, and methane recovery from low-concentration coal mine gas,” “drying of chlorine and hydrogen chloride,” “adsorption-based decarbonization in natural gas liquefaction plants,” “recovery of C2 and C3 hydrocarbons from natural gas,” “specialized high-efficiency adsorbents for mercury and arsenic removal from natural gas,” and “peak-shaving adsorption for natural gas.”

The company has currently obtained ISO 19001:2008 certification for its quality management system and ISO 14001:2004 certification for its environmental management system. It also holds Grade B qualification for chemical engineering design, Grade A qualification for environmental pollution prevention and control engineering, and GC2-level qualification for pressure piping design. To date, we have delivered over one hundred industrial plants of various scales to a wide range of clients, which are extensively used in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, photovoltaic, and other industries and have earned widespread acclaim from our customers.
