Good News┃Dakote Energy Awarded the Title of “2023 Advanced Unit for Civilized Construction of Projects”

On January 20, 2024, at the 2023 Annual Awards Ceremony of the Project Department of Guizhou Qixin Industrial Co., Ltd., the TSA purification unit for synthetic ammonia equipment under the coal deep-processing and comprehensive utilization project undertaken by Dakete Energy as the EPC contractor received unanimous recognition from the client during the construction and installation phase. In recognition of this achievement, the client conferred upon Dakete Energy the honorary title of “2023 Advanced Unit for Civilized Construction.”

 

The company will continue to devote itself wholeheartedly to project construction, comprehensively managing project quality, safety, and schedule to ensure the successful completion of all project objectives.

 

 

This project employs Dakote Energy’s independently developed and manufactured temperature-swing adsorption (TSA) technology for the removal of tar, benzene, and naphthalene, along with its proprietary core adsorbent products. The development of this technology has undergone multiple rounds of technological innovation, most notably the successful R&D in 2017 of the third-generation DKT-30D/B specialized adsorbent for TSA-based benzene and naphthalene removal, which has since been successfully deployed in numerous coking industry projects, delivering significant breakthroughs in purification performance and service life. To date, this technology and its core products have been successfully applied in a wide range of similar projects, including those at Shaanxi Longmen Coking, Xinjiang Xinhui Gorge, Shanxi Woneng, Inner Mongolia Black Cat (Phases I and II), Shanxi Yaxin, Shanxi Yixin, Shanxi Tongzhou, Anyang Shunli, Donghai New Energy, Inner Mongolia Guangju, Zhongjin Taihang, Inner Mongolia Hengkun, Guizhou Meijin (Phases I and II), and Guizhou Qixin.

Temperature Swing Adsorption (TSA)

Skill Technical features and advantages:

Conduct process design rationally by selecting single-stage or multi-stage adsorption beds based on the composition and concentration of impurities in the gas, thereby ensuring optimal purification performance.

Design the adsorption tower appropriately, with particular attention to the tower diameter-to-height ratio, gas distribution, and mechanical water separation, to prevent undesirable phenomena such as channeling, bypass flow, and the entrainment of mechanical water into the adsorbent bed, thereby ensuring high adsorbent utilization efficiency.

The third-generation temperature-variable adsorbent, independently developed and optimized for this application, effectively removes impurity components such as tar, naphthalene, and benzene from the feed gas. Featuring low bulk density, high pore volume, large specific surface area, and enhanced adsorption capacity, it also exhibits easier and more complete desorption, thereby ensuring long-term, safe, and stable operation of the unit.
