At the beginning of 2023, the pressure swing adsorption unit for the Phase I 50,000-ton-per-year high-purity polysilicon project—part of the EPC project undertaken by our company for Xinjiang Jingnuo New Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd.—received unanimous recognition from the client during construction and installation, earning our company the honorary title of “Advanced Unit in Safety.”

This project primarily involves purifying hydrogen (H2) from the tail gas of cold hydrogenation to a purity of 99.99% or higher using an advanced PSA process, for use in the production of electronic-grade, high-purity crystalline silicon.

The project is located in Shihezi, Xinjiang. Despite the pandemic-related lockdowns in 2022, our colleagues steadfastly remained at their posts, fully leveraging our company’s independently developed cutting-edge technologies to drive the implementation of the entire project and ensure its efficient and high-quality completion.

Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Hydrogen Purification Technology

 

Technical Features and Advantages:

Employing a variety of proprietary, in-house-developed and manufactured specialty adsorbents that deliver performance more than 30% superior to conventional adsorbents;

Utilizing a proprietary, patented pressure swing adsorption process, the unit offers flexible operation, safe and stable performance, and a compact footprint.

High hydrogen yield, low energy consumption for hydrogen purification, and low operating costs;

Hydrogen purification technology is mature, with extensive project track record and rich experience in engineering design and operation.

The group standard T/CIET 1003-2025 “Technical Specification for Methane Recovery and Utilization in Oil and Gas Fields”, in which Sichuan DKT Energy Technology Co., Ltd.( A subsidiary of Hydrexia (China)) served as the main drafting unit, has been successfully released.
