Special Report on the 2018 Dakot Energy Conference

At 9:30 a.m. on January 27, 2019, the 2018 Annual Work Summary and Awards Ceremony of Sichuan Dakete Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was solemnly held at the Guanlan Clubhouse at the company’s headquarters in the Qingyang Industrial Park in Chengdu. Attending the ceremony were company leaders Zhu Daixi, Yu Lanjin, Zheng Yong, Liu Yajing, along with nearly 100 employees, retired senior leaders and veteran colleagues, and their family members. The first item on the agenda was the summary and remarks by the company leadership: Chairman and General Manager Zhu Daixi delivered a report titled “Stay True to Our Original Aspiration, Press On with Perseverance, Act with Sincerity and Unity, and Pursue Sustainable Development.” In his report, Chairman Zhu objectively reviewed the company’s performance in 2018, identified existing problems, shared his insights from the year’s work, and outlined the strategic direction for 2019. Deputy General Managers Yu Lanjin, Zheng Yong, and Liu Yajing then each offered heartfelt, vivid remarks on the areas of their respective responsibilities. The second item was the presentation of awards to 20 employees who had achieved outstanding results and demonstrated exceptional performance in their roles, including two recipients of the “Rising Star Award,” two of the “Unsung Contributors Award,” two of the “Best Progress Award,” 12 of the “Outstanding Employee Award,” and two of the “Outstanding Contribution Award.” The third item featured a vibrant and entertaining program performed by the employees, while frequent red-envelope giveaways and prize draws kept the festive atmosphere at a thrilling climax throughout the event.

The 130,000 Nm³/h desulfurization and hydrogen production project of Shaanxi Dongxinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. has entered the final commissioning and completion phase.

Our company is undertaking the construction of a semi-coke gas PSA hydrogen production unit, along with desulfurization units for desorbed gas and acidic gases, for Shaanxi Dongxinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. This project is part of a comprehensive coal chemical utilization and circular economy initiative. The first phase of the project has a total investment of RMB 3.661 billion and is designed to produce 1.2 million tonnes per year of semi-coke, 20,000 tonnes per year of metallic magnesium, and 500,000 tonnes per year of coal tar hydrogenation products. Our company is responsible for constructing the semi-coke gas PSA hydrogen production unit and the associated desulfurization facilities for desorbed gas and acidic gases within the coal tar hydrogenation section. The processing capacity is 130,000 Nm³/h of semi-coke gas; the hydrogen production rate is 25,000 Nm³/h, with the desorbed gas, after desulfurization, being routed to the metallic magnesium production unit and the combustion furnace, yielding sulfur as a byproduct at a rate of 352 kg/h. Construction on this project commenced in May 2014. To date, the unit has completed individual equipment commissioning, process pipeline purging, and the commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and automatic control systems, and the project has now entered the final stage of trial operation.
