Recently, the Chengdu New Economy Committee selected and formed a list of the top 100 key enterprises to cultivate the new economy in Chengdu in 2018, and Chengdu High-tech Zone has become the first choice for new economy enterprises. Approximately 70% of Chengdu's top 100 key enterprises for the cultivation of the new economy were born in the high-tech zone, mainly in Tianfu Software Park. It is understood that the Chengdu New Economy Committee is currently establishing a new economy enterprise database, dynamically grasping the status quo of enterprise development, and vigorously developing "mind enterprises" in the industrial chain. The committee also sorted out the list of more than 30 "potential unicorns". These companies mainly come from big data, Internet + smart medical, Internet + smart logistics, smart hardware, artificial intelligence, culture and entertainment, VR/AR and other fields. As the first city in the country to set up a new economic committee, Chengdu's emphasis on new economic development is evident. The Chengdu New Economic Development Conference clearly stated that by 2022, a new economic industrial system with global influence and regional driving force will be basically formed, and a new type of city most suitable for the development and growth of the new economy will be built.
