Lately, the PSA plant for cold hydrogenation of 2×50,000 t/a (Phase I) High-purity Crystalline Silicon Project of Xinjiang Jingnuo New Energy was successfully put into operation at the first test run and passed the Owner’s acceptance. DKT Energy undertook the process technology, engineering design, equipment procurement, installation and commissioning of this project.

 

The purity of hydrogen in this project reached 99.995%. DKT provided a new path and solution for the Owner to recover high-purity hydrogen from cold hydrogenation tail gas at ambient temperature, which was conducive to the energy conservation and emission reduction in high-purity crystalline silicon production, and further reduce production costs.

 

The successful operation of the project once again demonstrated the maturity and advancement of DKTs technology, and the excellent project management level of DKT was also fully reflected.

 

 


DKT Energy’s self-developed technology is adopted:

- Hydrogen purification by pressure swing adsorption (PSA)

Technical features and advantages:

- Using a variety of special adsorbents independently developed and produced, and the performance is improved by more than 30% compared with conventional adsorbents;

- Adopting the patented pressure swing adsorption technology independently developed. The plant is flexible, safe and stable in operation, and occupies a small area;

- High hydrogen recovery, low energy consumption and low operating cost for purifying hydrogen;

- The hydrogen purification technology is mature, with many engineering achievements and rich experience in engineering design and operation.
