Lately, DKT Energy [subsidiary of Hydrexia (China)] won the bid for the 12,000 Nm3/h PSA Hydrogen Purification Plant for PEMFC of Shanxi Woneng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. of Hangzhou Oxygen Plant Group Co., Ltd. The plant is a large-scale single-set hydrogen production unit for the industrial application of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) under construction in China. The project is of EP contract mode, and the core equipment will be highly integrated and skid-mounted for supply, meeting the demand of short-term construction of hydrogen energy project.
In this project, pressure swing adsorption (PSA) purification technology and special adsorbents for high-purity hydrogen production independently developed by DKT Energy will be adopted. The industrial hydrogen-rich tail gas is used as raw material to produce the product hydrogen which meets the quality requirements of the national standard of hydrogen for fuel cells, GB/T37244-2018 Fuel Specification for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Vehicles-Hydrogen, which is used as the core hydrogen source supply end of the “hydrogenation, charging and gas filling" integrated large-scale comprehensive energy island of Shanxi Hangwo Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
The project is planned to be completed and put into operation in August 2024. After the project is implemented, it will help Shanxi Hangwo Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to build the large-scale comprehensive energy island project integrating hydrogenation, charging and gas filling. The hydrogen purified by DKT Energy's PSA technology can effectively meet the needs of application scenarios such as energy supply for different types of hydrogen energy vehicles, and greatly enhance the economic value of hydrogen-rich tail gas. Meanwhile, the construction of the local hydrogen energy industry chain can be accelerated to create a regional green ecology, helping the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure. The project will become a highlight project in the field of local new energy and intelligent logistics, which is of great significance for energy conservation and emission reduction and helping to achieve the dual carbon goals.
