Refinery dry gas originates from the secondary processing of crude oil. It mainly contains hydrogen, methane, ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane and other components, but it is often burned as fuel gas, which is a huge waste of resources. If ethylene, propylene, light hydrocarbons (ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane) and hydrogen in refinery gas can be effectively separated and recovered, it is of great significance to realize resource optimization, energy saving and emission reduction, and improve the economic benefits of refinery. DKT has developed an integrated technology of recovering ethylene or ethylene feedstock (light hydrocarbons) and hydrogen by pressure swing adsorption according to the technical requirements of refinery gas utilization.
The whole process mainly includes four parts. First, feed gas pretreatment is used to remove acid gases (CO2, H2S, etc.), heavy hydrocarbons, water, etc.; Second, ethylene or ethylene feedstock (C2, C3) in refinery dry gas is separated and concentrated by PSA with special adsorbents; Third, hydrogen is separated and recovered to obtain hydrogen product with a purity of more than 99.9mol%; Fourth, refining of ethylene or ethylene feedstock product gas is adopted to remove all kinds of impurity components to meet the requirements of subsequent processes.
