Refinery gas originates from the secondary processing of crude oil. It mainly contains hydrogen, methane, ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane and other components, but it is often burned as fuel gas, resulting in huge waste of resources. If ethylene, propylene, light hydrocarbons (ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane) and hydrogen in refinery gas can be effectively separated and recovered, and it is significant to realize resource optimization, energy saving and emission reduction, and improve the economic benefits of refinery. DKT has developed a pressure swing adsorption recovery of ethylene or ethylene feedstock (light hydrocarbons) and hydrogen integration technology to meet the technical needs of refinery gas resource utilization.

The whole process mainly includes four parts, one is the pretreatment of raw material gas, which is used to remove acid gas (CO₂, H₂S, etc.), heavy hydrocarbons, water, etc.; the other is pressure swing adsorption to recover ethylene or ethylene raw materials (C₂, C₃) , and the ethylene or ethylene raw materials in the refinery dry gas are separated and concentrated through special adsorbents; the third is the separation and recovery of hydrogen to obtain hydrogen products with a purity of more than 99.9mol%; the fourth is ethylene or ethylene raw material product gas refining, used to remove all kinds of impurities, to meet the requirements of the subsequent process device.
